Boarding requirements and services.
There are only two ABKA certified kennels in Massachusetts, and Ledgebrooke Kennels is proud to be one of them. What is ABKA? It is the American Boarding Kennels Association. When boarding your pet at an accredited boarding kennel, you can be assured that you are dealing with a pet care facility that complies with all of the standards of excellence required by the ABKA.
- Dogs
When possible, dogs are placed in our spacious indoor/ outdoor runs. Weather permitting, dogs are allowed access to the outdoor portion between 7:30 am to 7 pm and are secured inside at night for comfort and safety. All runs are cleaned and disinfected each morning, and maintained throughout the day. If housed indoors, they are walked, or placed into outdoor runs for exercise during the day.
- Playtime
Individual playtime can be purchased in 15 minute blocks. Playtime involves time spent one-on-one with a staff member either walking and exploring the property, playing in the yard with numerous safe toys, or just quiet TLC.
- Cats
Cats are housed in our spacious condos. Each condo measures 28" wide by 26" deep by 30" high and have a resting bench at mid-height to provide a better vantage point. The condos can be combined vertically and horizontally to form a suite of up to four units. In addition, we have a window seat for bird watching, scratching posts, a fish tank and plenty of catnip.
